Beijing's 2020 new-energy vehicle quota fully allocated

The industry update of 25 February 2020 recorded more than 467,000 applicants for Beijing EV registrations, with the 2020 quota exhausted.

This historical record reflects demand for new-energy vehicles in Beijing at the time. As vehicle adoption grew, charging provision in residential parking areas, business parks and public car parks also became a planning priority.
